Hello my name is Elijah Canty
February 2023
I grew up in a place where most kids don’t take school seriously. The odds were stacked against me. But Coach Bracey helped make me a better person. He taught me how to work hard and believe in myself.
Since joining Arise, I have become a much better student and I have learned a great deal about football as well. Most importantly, I have learned how to study and to use my time wisely and not procrastinate.
It wasn’t easy at first. However, I felt supported and Coach Bracey and his team helped me stick with it. My overall GPA my freshman year at Brien Mcmahon High School was 3.8 (high honors). I recently learned that I was accepted to Greenwich Country Day School.
I can honestly say that never would have happened without all the guidance I received from Coach Bracey.
Sincerely,

Hello my name is Seneca Greenwood

To Whom it May Concern:
I joined the Arise sports education program in 2022 and I can honestly say it changed my life. Coach Bracey and his team taught me the value of discipline, hard work, and to focus on my academics. Since joining Arise, I have maintained a 3.9 overall GPA and my football skills have improved dramatically.
Last Fall, based on my success in school and on the football field, I was accepted to Greenwich Country Day School (GCDS). During my first year at GCDS, I was voted vice president of my freshman class, and I have taken the first steps towards getting into a great college.
None of this would have been possible if it weren’t for Coach Bracey and the wonderful people at Arise. They helped me through the entire process and supported and guided me every step of the way.
I highly recommend Arise for any student-athlete that wants to improve and succeed.
Sincerely,
Seneca Greenwood

Hello my name is Roberto Di Federico

To Whom it May Concern:
I grew up in a household with two Italian parents who worked really hard and always supported and encouraged me to be a great student. However, when I found out about the Arise program I was amazed.
Since I joined Arise, I have become a better student and a better athlete. I have maintained a 4.1 GPA (High Honors) at Brien Mcmahon High School. Additionally, I was accepted to St Luke’s School in New Canaan for next fall.
The Arise program taught how to work hard and never give up on my dreams. I honestly believe that I couldn’t have achieved this level of success without the help of Coach Bracey and the amazing Arise staff.
I recommend the Arise program to any student-athlete that wants to succeed and improve.
Sincerely,

Hello my name is Brendan Arroyo

To Whom it May Concern:
I’ve always loved to play football but would always be easily distracted by others around me to do things that wouldn’t benefit me. When joining Arise it helped separate me from others and more focused on my sport. The thing about Arise is that you are taught to be a good person on and off the field. Some things I’ve learned is that I should maintain a good gpa, stop hanging out with bad friends, and focus on my goals. Most importantly coach Bryant has been not only a coach but a friend to me that has pushed me to not give up on my dreams and to just keep going. I’ve recently committed to Anna Maria College to continue my football and academic career on scholarship, to play the wide receiver position. Arise program sees a players potential and helps them exceed past their limits, no matter where they are from and who they are.
