Key Components of the NCAA Sports Counseling Package:
- Academic Guidance and Planning:Course Selection: Advising students on selecting high school courses that meet NCAA eligibility requirements. Grade Monitoring: Regular tracking of academic progress to ensure students maintain the GPA needed for NCAA eligibility. Study Skills and Tutoring: Providing resources and support to help students excel academically, including access to tutors and study skills workshops.
- Athletic Development:Skill Enhancement: Offering personalized training programs to improve athletic performance in the student's chosen sport. Showcase Preparation: Guidance on participating in showcases, tournaments, and camps to gain exposure to college recruiters. Performance Analysis: Evaluating and providing feedback on athletic performance to identify areas for improvement.
- NCAA Eligibility Center Assistance:Registration Support: Helping students register with the NCAA Eligibility Center, a crucial step in becoming eligible for college sports. Documentation and Compliance: Assisting with the submission of necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with NCAA rules and regulations.
- Recruitment Strategy:College Selection: Helping students identify colleges that fit their academic and athletic goals. Recruitment Process: Providing guidance on how to effectively communicate with college coaches, including writing emails, making phone calls, and creating athletic resumes. Highlight Videos: Assisting in the creation of highlight videos to showcase athletic abilities to college coaches.
